Solar panels play a critical role in solar streetlight systems. We use Grade A+ solar cells with an efficiency of up to 21.12% and ultra-clear, low-iron tempered glass with a light transmittance of 98%. This glass can withstand hail and ice impacts of up to 5,400 Pa.

The design accounts for factors such as soiling, power degradation, and winter angle loss (with a 25% margin for loss).
